Kate Morgan originally checked into the Hotel Del Coronado on November 23, 1892. She was found dead at the foot of steps leading down to the beach on November 29, 1892. She was discovered to have a gunshot wound to the head from an upward angle. It was found later that the caliber of bullet lodged in Kate's head did not match that of the weapon she had purchased during her stay at the hotel.   Investigation Experience November, 2002 In November of 2002, while staying in the Kate Morgan room at the Hotel Del Coronado, my daughter and myself snapped these two photographs. My daughter had just stepped out of the shower when she noticed these initials in the mirror: The two photos above are the property of Paula Kahan and may not be used on other websites, personal or commercial or reproduced in any form without her express permission.  One can plainly see the KM in the mirror in a very fine, somewhat old-fashioned script. I was not a ‘ghost tracker’ back then and had only minimal equipment. We snapped these pictures quickly before the condensation dissipated and these are the results. We were truly amazed as my daughter, a sensitive, had this visual image before taking her shower.  I assure you that what you see has not been altered excepting changing the color in the image to black and white to enable one to more easily see the initials.
